15 Aug Weiss Ratings Urges Nations to Adopt Privacy Cryptocurrencies
Weiss Ratings recently encouraged governments around the world to adopt the use of privacy-focused cryptocurrencies such as Monero, saying that there is a lot to be gained from the potential of the technology.
Weiss and Villaverde said that the Privacy Distributed Ledger Technology used by Monero [XMR] and Zcash (ZEC) for protecting transactions can also be used to create an efficient, fast, secure, and anonymous voting system.
Weiss also said that banning these privacy-centric tokens will not stop criminals from using them. However, adopting its technology would help nations stay ahead in terms of innovation, safeguard democratic elections, and protect sensitive information.
