23 Mar Vivaldi Browser to Use DuckDuckGo Search for Better Privacy
Vivaldi revealed this week that it will now be offering DuckDuckGo’s search engine to users using the browser’s Private tabs.
Unlike popular search engines such as Google, DuckDuckGo does not track the user’s search activity. Vivaldi co-founder and CEO Jon von Tetzchner says that users are demanding a thriving internet, not one fraught with surveillance and security breaches.
Other browsers such as Brave, which is known for blocking websites that track user behavior, have also recommended DuckDuckGo for its privacy features.
