28 Sep Vivaldi 2.0 Offers New Privacy Tools, Expanded Customization
The team behind the Vivaldi browser announced that it has released version 2.0 this week which offers greater privacy and customization options.
The newest version of the browser now allows users to sync data across browsers on different computers. The will be uploaded to Vivaldi’s own servers and will be protected with end-to-end encryption. Users can now also track their usage stats and use a visual history feature.
Vivaldi CEO Jon von Tetzchner says that their browser never collects personal information and does not use tracking cookies on the user’s computer. He also assured that the company will never use a business model that monetizes the data of its users.
