Under Armour App Hit by Breach, Data of 4 Million Compromised

It was revealed this week that Under Armour’s MyFitnessPal had been hit by a breach last February and the data of around 4 million Australian customers had been affected.

According to a disclosure by the company, around 150 million accounts around the world had been impacted globally. Data including usernames, email addresses and passwords were affected, as well as passwords that were not hashed to the same standard.

Under Armour advised its customers to change their passwords and watch out for suspicious activity. However, it believes that no significant harm to customers will come of the incident.
