14 Nov UK Privacy Group Submits Complaints on US Firms to EU Regulators
UK’s Privacy International has reportedly submitted complaints to EU regulators against several US companies for violating the GDPR.
The complaint, submitted to UK, Ireland, and France, said that Oracle, Axciom, Criteo, Quantcast, Tapad, Equifax, and Experian had violated Articles five and six of Europe’s new data privacy rules which relate to the collection and processing of information.
The advocacy group also requested regulators to investigate the companies under the GDPR’s Articles 13 and 14 (the right to information), Article 15 (the right of access), Article 22 (automated decision making and profiling), Article 25 (data protection and by design and default) and Article 35 (data protection impact assessments).
