19 Jan Twitter Security Bug Exposes Private Tweets of Android Users
Twitter revealed this week that it fixed an issue that may have exposed the private tweets of some Android users.
However, Twitter said that only Android users who had the “Protect your Tweets” option enabled and changed their account email address between November 3, 2014, and January 14, 2019 may have been affected.
The bug did not affect those using Twitter on iOS or web browser. Twitter also advised users to double-check their settings under “Protect your Tweets” option in the account settings panel, under the “Privacy and safety” option.
