14 Aug Trade Desk: Google’s Privacy Issues Drives Advertisers to Choose Other Options
TradeDesk CEO Jeff Green said this week that Google’s move on privacy is pushing advertisers to companies such as his after the GDPR caused the search giant to remove access to measurement data critical for building online campaigns.
The digital ad firm’s shares went up 32% last Friday which far exceeded analysts’ estimates.
Green further pointed out that Google, like Facebook and YouTube, is facing great scrutiny in the US where it is feared that foreign actors might use the company’s platform to influence consumers and voters.
