29 Sep Top Facebook Exec Slams WhatsApp Co-Founder for Zuckerberg Criticisms
Facebook’s David Marcus last Wednesday made some scathing remarks about WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton over his revelations on Mark Zuckerberg in a Forbes interview published this week.
Acton said that Zuckerberg had been in a rush to profit from WhatsApp that he acted to undermine the elements of its encryption technology. However, Marcus said in a Facebook post that while Jan Koum had been instrumental in convincing Zuckerberg of adopting encryption, it was implemented after the acquisition and the decision was never questioned from that point on.
Marcus also called Acton’s attack on Zuckerberg and the company “a whole new standard of low class.”
