30 Jan Thomson Reuters Launches Data Privacy Advisor
Thomson Reuters Legal’s global head of strategy and business development Chris McGuire recently revealed in an interview that the multinational firm had released a web platform that centralizes global legal and regulatory data privacy information called Data Privacy Advisor.
McGuire said that the web-based tool, which covers all US states and Canadian provinces, as well as more than 80 countries, collates all legal documents, professional analysis and news pertaining to data privacy in the Thomson Reuters database.
The tool also updates every European and US business day with information from Reuters Media and around 800 vetted blogs, and also has a Q&A feature which uses IBM’s artificial intelligence system called Watson.
