27 Jun Silicon Valley Giants to Discuss Privacy in San Francisco Event
The Information Technology Industry Council organized an event this week in San Francisco which will be attended by privacy and government affairs officers from global tech companies to discuss consumer privacy concerns.
The all-day meeting will be hosted by the Washington trade group that represents major tech companies to jump-start the conversations focusing on privacy issues highlighted by the GDPR and Facebook’s recent data scandal.
The ITI counts companies such as Facebook, Google, Apple, Salesforce, IBM, Microsoft, Intel, and Samsung as members. However, it was not revealed who would be attending.
