13 Jan Privacy Protection a Top Video Surveillance Trend for 2018
According to predictions by IHS Markit analysts advances in privacy protection will be among the top video-surveillance trends this 2018.
In addition to AI and deep learning, analysts say that the EU will generate increased discussions on privacy and protections concerning the video surveillance industry. Since the GDPR will replace the data protection laws of EU member states, it is likely to heighten the awareness of ordinary citizens of their own data protection rights.
It was also predicted that China will increase its demand for global professional video surveillance equipment revenue for this year as they are practically considered to be the biggest market in the world for such equipment.
