13 Jul Privacy.com to Market Directly to Consumers with New API
Privacy.com, a virtual card provider, announced this week an API that they plan to market directly to consumers.
The new API will allow consumers to create views of their transactions on their Privacy.com cards, as well as set up push notifications for new transactions, or when subscriptions are up for renewal. CEO Bo Jiang also revealed that the company may work with data aggregators and third-party app providers to share data with them.
It is said that the move aims to test consumers on how much data they are willing to share with third parties and which ones.
