Phantom.me App Helps Users “Disappear”, Protects Privacy Online

A company called Phantom.me recently launched their app in conjunction with Human Rights Day last December 10. Founder Miki Balin claims that their app can help users “disappear” online by using AES256 encryption to protect their privacy.

Balin says the Phantom.me app can make all activity on a user’s phone, such as browsing, taking photos, and messaging, visible only to the device owner. He adds that by using a “zero-knowledge approach” to implement encryption and a unique password for every file, no authority will be able to compel users to give up their information.
