29 Dec Personal Data of 250,000 Australians Leaked by Entertainment Company
Nova Entertainment warned this week more than 250,000 of its listeners that personal data collected from them between 2009 and 2011 had been made public, including residential addresses and birth dates.
CEO Cathy O’Connor said that affected individuals are already being notified and the company is taking all necessary measures to ensure the strength and effectiveness of its our cyber security. O’Connor also assured that there is currently no evidence of any suspicious activity or threats on Nova Entertainment’s systems.
