Online Travel Booking Website Compromises 5 Million Users

It has recently been reported that Yatra.com, an online travel booking platform, had been breached way back in 2013. According to breach notification website Have I Been Pwned, over 5 million records had been compromised, and sensitive information such as email and physical addresses, dates of birth and phone numbers, along with both PINs and passwords stored in plain text may already be in the possession of unauthorized parties.

Those who have used the website are urged to change their passwords and check the Have I been Pwned website if their data had been involved in the breach.
