23 Jan Online Casino Group Leaks Bet, User Information
Security researcher Justin Paine divulged this week that he had found an unprotected ElasticSearch server containing sensitive information on around 108 million bets, including the personal information of customers, deposits, and withdrawals.
Paine said that the information was likely to have been aggregated from multiple domains, or multiple betting portals belonging to one company. Some of the domains Paine identified from the leaky server included kahunacasino.com, azur-casino.com, easybet.com, and viproomcasino.net.
While payment card details had been partially redacted, the leaked information could still potentially be damaging since it includes full names, addresses and phone numbers of winners, which could be targeted by scams or extortion schemes.
