10 Oct OneTrust Launches New Tool, Includes Global Privacy Resources
At the recently held PrivacyTech event, privacy and marketing compliance firm OneTrust unveiled its new Global Readiness and Accountability platform which maps out a number of global privacy laws and security frameworks, including the GPDR, Brazil’s new general data protection law (LGPD), the Australia Privacy Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act and ISO 27001.
The company says that the tool will enable organizations to check their compliance against a single dynamic framework, as well as automatically benchmark it against many global privacy laws all at once.
Kabir Barday, OneTrust CEO and Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) adds that their tool should help their customers gain a holistic view of their organizational processes and procedures, identify gaps and manage their privacy programme at a global scale.
