30 Nov Nuuo Cam Bug Allows Attackers to Tamper Footage
Researchers from cybersecurity firm Digital Defense recently uncovered a bug in Nuuo surveillance cameras which can allow hackers to tamper with footages and live feeds.
The zero-day vulnerability affects the Nuuo NVRmini 2 Network Video Recorder firmware, a software used by hundreds of thousands of surveillance cameras worldwide.
Although the NVRmini 2 firmware version 3.9.1 and prior is vulnerable to exploit, Nuuo responded quickly to the disclosure and issued a patch for the issue.
