09 May NPC Orders Jollibee to Secure Website Against Breach
Earlier this week, the National Privacy Commission revealed that it will be asking fast food giant Jollibee to take the necessary steps to prevent a breach of its website.
The NPC said that its digital forensics team had conducted vulnerability assessment and penetration testing since last year and found issues and attempted data breaches of one of the country’s biggest companies.
NPC Chief Raymund E. Liboro said that they are currently in communication with Jollibee, while Atty. Francis Euston Acero of NPC Complaints and Investigation Division said a comprehensive order will be released within the week.
