30 Jul New Tool to Verify Location Data Released by Placecast for Mobile Campaigns
Placecast, a mobile data location management firm, announced it will launch a revolutionary Location Verification Tool that will aid marketers in successfully targeting ads to their intended consumers, according to a report last Saturday.
Company CEO Alistair Goodman cited research from Mobile Marketing Association revealing that around 40% of businesses in the industry are uneasy about the accuracy of data location.
The study showed that data for location is not dependable, which results to inefficacy in campaign targets. To address this issue, Placecast developed a new Location Verification product to help businesses optimize ad placement campaigns.
The new tool is currently being handled by a business team, making sure it works fairly in an independent manner.
For privacy concerns, Goodman said that the data with be collectively gathered and anonymized, stating that it is covered by the same privacy regulations of the mobile network’s carriers.
