28 Apr National Privacy Commission Recognized for Excellence in Digital Transformation
The National Privacy Commission, along with six other government bodies, were recognized by digital information platform OpenGov for striving towards excellence in ICT strategies, policies and initiatives.
According to OpenGov, the NPC has contributed to the building of public trust in the digital domain, in addition to protecting the digital lives of Filipino citizens. OpenGov has also recognized the contributions of the BSP, the City of Sta. Rosa, DoF, DICT, DILG, DOLE, and Landbank.
The OpenGov Recognition of Excellence (RoE) 2018 seeks to set new benchmarks for government ICT innovation across Asia and ANZ.
