20 Mar National Lottery Suspect Breach, 10 Million Players Told to Change Passwords
The parent company of the National Lottery, Camelot, urged users earlier this week to change their passwords after it had detected “suspicious activity” on several of its accounts.
Camelot reported that hackers may have gained access to around 150 accounts using previously stolen details from other websites. However, they said that the hackers had access to very limited information and no players had experienced any kind of financial loss.
Camelot reassured that there had been no access to core systems or databases that would affect lottery draws or prizes.
