27 Sep Mozilla Launches Firefox Data Breach Tool
Mozilla introduced this week a free service called Firefox Monitor which is designed to notify users whose data has been affected by a breach.
Users who wish to sign up for the service can go to monitor.firefox.com and register their email address which will be screened against a database of breaches provided by “Have I Been Pwned”, a breach service run by security expert Troy Hunt. Those who have signed up will also be notified in the event of a breach.
Firefox also announced its anti-tracking roadmap and promised more privacy protection features in the coming months.
