Macy’s Alert Customers About Data Breach

Department store chain Macy’s recently warned its customers that it has been targeted by a cyberattack for the past few months where customer data had been accessed from April 26 to June 11.

The third party was said to have gained access customer names, address, phone number, email address, birthday and credit or debit card number with expiration dates. Macy’s advised customers to change their online profile information and passwords if they receive notification about the breach or notice unfamiliar activity on their account.
