Lock Screen of Newly Released iOS 12 Bypassed

Spanish researcher Jose Rodriguez had recently published a YouTube video on how he was able to bypass the lock screen of the newly released iOS 12.

Rodriguez, who is known for two other iOS lock screen bypasses, carried out an elaborate operation that required two Apple devices. The bypass method also involved 16 steps in the correct sequence to view contacts, numbers and emails, and another 21 steps to access photos. It is said that the complex method rules out the possibility of a casual attack.

A number of Apple enthusiasts said that the proof-of-concept seems to work for Apple devices running iOS 12 and 12.1 beta.
