16 Nov IoT Camera Security Flaw Can Give Hackers Remote Access
Cisco Talos researchers have recently identified several flaws with the Foscam C1 Indoor HD Camera that can be exploited by hackers to gain remote access to the device.
The researchers found issues in the device’s webService DDNS client code execution, firmware upgrades, softAP configuration, device-to-device communications, and buffer overflow sensitivity. These vulnerabilities are separate from the ones previously found in the same device.
Cisco immediately informed Foscam of the flaws who released a firmware update right after to resolve the issues.
