23 Oct ING Releases Blockchain-based Data Privacy Tool
ING announced this week that it has launched its Zero-knowledge Set Membership (ZKSM) solution which is a blockchain-based tool that provides advanced privacy features for their clients.
The ZKSM is an upgrade to the company’s existing blockchain system, Zero-Knowledge Range Proof (ZKRP) which keeps client data private within a distributed ledger technology environment. The technology is used in cases such as KYC checks where information can be validated without being disclosed.
To encourage industry adoption, ING will launch ZKSM as an open-source platform to offer access to external developers.
