08 Jan HP Debuts Privacy Screen at CES 2019
HP is set to debut at CES 2019 this week the EliteDisplay E243p Sure View Monitor which is equipped with the SureView privacy technology.
SureView uses a combination of proprietary HP technology with 3M’s optical films to prevent off-angle viewing. Once activated, the feature brings down screen brightness to 180 nits and horizontal viewing angles to 80°, reducing the chances of prying eyes seeing what is onscreen.
SureView addresses the problems caused by aftermarket privacy screens which when installed, cannot be turned off and thus affect the user’s comfort.
