Hackers Steal Credit Card Details of Trump Hotel Customers

Last July 11, Trump Hotel management revealed that hackers have obtained the personal information of their guests. Locations in New York City, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., Chicago, Rio De Janeiro, and Vancouver were included in the attack.

The unfortunate incident came just months after the hotel chain paid $50,000 to New York State over failure to notify customers of a previous breach.

According to a statement by Trump Hotels, the personal information of guests who stayed from August 2016 to March 2017 were included in the breach. The hackers have managed to access names, addresses, phone numbers, and security codes.

Trump properties have already been a victim of data breaches in the past, including the massive Sabre Hospitality Solutions data breach. Hackers broke into the hotel’s SynXis Central Reservation system to access consolidated bookings.
