27 Sep Google Givers Users More Control Over Automatic Login, Cookies in Chrome 70
After receiving backlash for quitely rolling out an ‘automatic login feature’ in Chrome 69, Google announced this week that it will be backtracking on some privacy changes in Chrome 70 which is slated to be released this October.
Chrome product manager Zake Koch said that even though the company made the changes with good intentions, they have taken consideration of user feedback and have decided to give more control to users over their browsers.
Google also said that users will be able to delete all cookies in Chrome 70, including Google Authentication cookies.
