13 Dec Google Expert to Release Jailbreak for iOS, Mac
Last week, a Google security researcher announced in a tweet a proof-of-concept code for rooting iOS and Mac devices.
Researcher Ian Beer, who is a part of Google’s Project Zero, also mentioned over Twitter last December 12 a memory corruption issue in Mac and iOS kernels that an attacker can exploit to run malicious codes with system-level privileges.
Various jailbreaking projects have already said that they will be using Beer’s PoC into their tools. Beer’s code can be used to root iOS versions up to 11.1.2
