21 Dec Google CEO Supports Single Data-Protection Law
Google CEO Sundar Pichai expressed his support for a single data-protection law at a grilling session with US lawmakers in Congress last week.
Answering a question posed by California representative Eric Michael Swalwell Jr., Pichai said that the US is better off with an overarching data protection framework for users. He added that his company has worked on GDPR compliance for many months and it was a well-thought out piece of regulation that the US should align with whenever it can.
