Google CEO Pleased with Censored Search Engine Test Results

Google CEO Sundar Pichai revealed this week at the WIRED 25 Summit that tests of their censored search engine for China has so far been going well.

Pichai said that Project Dragonfly has the potential to expose the world to more information, and the company is compelled to provide information to the Chinese which make up 20 percent of the world’s population.

He added that they are always trying to balance a set of values such as providing information, freedom of expression, and user privacy, but they also have to abide by the rule of law in every country.
