22 Jun Google Account on Android Gets New Privacy Updates
Google recently announced that it has given Google Account on Android a number of security and privacy upgrades to help users better manage their settings.
The new interface, which was based on Google’s Material Design language, was launched this week and will be made available on iOS later this year.
The user dashboard will now feature four tabs at the bottom – Account, Search, Support, and Menu. Under the main Account section, users can access the Data & Personalization tab where they can control privacy settings such as location history, web activity, YouTube viewing history, and more.
Google Account product manager Jan Hannemann said that their new intuitive, user-tested design should help users better understand and take control of their accounts.
