Flight Centre ‘Mistakenly’ Leaks Customer Personal Data

Brisbane, Australia – The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner is currently investigating travel agency Flight Centre for releasing the personal information of its customers to third-party suppliers.

It was not revealed what personal data got leaked and how many customers were affected, but it was mentioned that passport details were involved.  

The company pointed to “human error” as the cause of the incident, and that they are fully cooperating with the privacy regulator’s inquiries.
