30 Jun Firefox Integrates Data Breach Notification Feature
Firefox announced this week that it will now be providing a feature that will allow users to find out if their email and password has been leaked in a data breach.
Firefox’s partnership with Have I Been Pwned, a data breach notification service, resulted to a tool called Firefox Monitor which allows users to search the pwned database within the browser itself. Meanwhile, the “pwned” service has now been integrated with 1Password, which also shows users what they can do if they have been compromised.
It is expected that hundreds of millions of users will be able to conveniently check the safety of their credentials once Mozilla completes testing and fully releases its Monitor tool, .
