20 Jun Expert Says NEO Blockchain May Solve Privacy Issues, Replace Facebook
At the recently held London Tech Week convention, Alpine Macro’s chief global strategist Chen Zhao remarked that the NEO blockchain may provide a solution to privacy issues such as the ones plaguing Facebook.
Chen said that data on Facebook’s platform is not always profitable since the mechanism behind the data transfer is not defined. However, the implementation of distributed ledgers may ensure that users get returns for their content in a swift and transparent manner.
He also clarified that while regulations concerning blockchain technology may be difficult, it can help reduce scams and other fraudulent activities, thus making such projects more trustworthy and appealing to the public.
