DHS Draft Calls for Muslim Immigrant Surveillance

A reporter from The Guardian recently criticized the Trump administration for introducing a number of surveillance programs mostly targeted against minorities.

One of the latest was discovered last week in a draft by the Department of Homeland Security which recommended long-term surveillance on Sunni Muslim immigrants which were considered to be an “at-risk” demographic.

The reported also blasted the DHS and FBI’s plans for conducting surveillance on the Movement for Black Lives, as well as the new DHS which calls for the tracking of internet activity of all visa applicants, visa holders and legal permanent residents.
