21 Sep Data of 30,000 INTO Users May Have Been Stolen
Reports last week stated that the personal information of up to 30,000 user of INTO Learning may have been stolen by hackers who broke into the online portal last week.
Assistant general secretary of the Irish National Teachers Union (INTO) Peter Mullan said that while personal details such as names, gender, email addresses, city/county details, and course information may have been stolen, financial information such as credit card numbers were kept safe.
Mullan also warned that the hackers will probably use the information to spam, and may attempt to elicit more information from the recipient.
