02 Sep Cop Drags Nurse Out of Hospital for Refusing to Collect Blood Sample
A video showing an explosive encounter involving a cop and the head nurse of University of Utah Hospital’s burn unit is currently going viral on Internet.
The 19-minute video showed nurse Alex Wubbels being dragged out of hospital premises for refusing detective Jeff Payne from taking a blood sample from an unconscious patient. The patient was involved in a vehicular accident and was suspected of using illicit substances.
The nurse maintained that the police officer was not allowed to obtain the blood sample without a warrant or consent of the patient.
