06 Sep Celebrity Info Being Sold By Instagram Hackers
The attackers who claimed responsibility for the recent Instagram hacking incident which may have compromised the details of millions of users have been reported to be selling the information on a website called DoxAGram.
The private information of celebrities were said to be part of the breach. It was also reported that The Daily Beast website was able to get a sample of the data and confirmed that the email addresses, which are not publicly available, were indeed associated with the celebrity Instagram accounts. The full database is said to be for sale only to buyers who have already spent $5000 on the site.
However, DoxAGram insists that they are offering a 100% legal service, and that they only act as a data broker and is not selling anything illegal.
