03 Jan Blur Password Manager Exposes Data of Millions of Users
The company behind Blur Password Manager revealed this week that it accidentally exposed online the data of around 2.4 million of its users.
The sensitive data was discovered by a security researcher last December 13. After being informed of the leak, the company conducted an investigation and found that information such as email addresses, names, password hints, IP addresses, and even encrypted passwords had been left without any protection on one of its servers.
The company however assured that they found no evidence that usernames, passwords, financial details, masked emails and phone numbers had been exposed.
