Blockchain Search Engine Aims for Ad Security and Finely-Tuned Targets

According to a report last Sunday, a new decentralized search engine platform will be released by a blockchain startup. The project is being spearheaded by Alex Bessonov, a head security officer at LG Electronics in the past.

The project called BitClave Active Search Ecosystem (BASE) is built on the etherum blockchain. It is designed to work like current search engines while allowing full control over the amount of data that can be shared with advertisers. This results in enhanced ad privacy as well as high-quality ad targets.

Bessonov states that he wanted to develop systems that allowed users control over their data so other parties won’t just get them and sell the information.

To date, the startup is currently negotiating partnerships with online businesses that are interested in using BitClave. They are also planning a CAT tokens crowdsale towards the end of July to increase user awareness.
