Blockchain Hold Key to User Data Privacy, Expert Says

Lambda co-founder Lucy Wang recently said that blockchain technology holds the key to the actualization of robust data security for the digital landscape, and hopes that stakeholders become aware that there is a need to implement the technology in data security frameworks to prevent incidents like the latest Marriott breach.

It is said that at present, existing public chains are inadequate for data storage, TPS deficiency, cross-chain issues, governance issues, application development issues, etc. Wang said that projects like Lambda improve blockchain at an algorithmic level, with its Provable Data Possession (PDP) and Proofs of Retrievability (POR) protocols, so that the technology can evolve and provide useful solutions to the problem.
