Apple iOS Update Rates Users Based on Call, Email Habits

Last Monday, Apple had reportedly rolled out with its latest iOS 12 update a ratings system that scores users based on the number of emails and calls a user makes.

According to the company, the measure will help them identify fraud, but they won’t be able to see the real values on the user’s device while the scores are stores on their servers for a fixed time only.

Apple also said that actual user behavior cannot be determined from the user’s score, which is not used for targeted advertising. However, users won’t be able to see their own score on their devices.
