13 Dec Amazon India to Probe Data Leak Reports
Amazon India has said that it is carrying out an investigation into reports of alleged data leakage involving its Indian and US employees.
Several workers from both countries had reportedly been dismissed for inappropriately accessing internal data which had been misused by disreputable merchants. India in particular, was cited as a major source of data misuse.
The All India Online Vendors Association (AIOVA) acknowledged that fraud sellers have always been a problem, but it did not know specifically about sellers affected by the practice.
