Senators Seek Internal Memo on Google+ Breach

Republican senators John Thune, Roger Wicker, and Jerry Moran wrote a letter to Google this week asking for an internal memo which may confirm a coverup of the breach of the company’s social network.

It was just recently reported that Google+ may have leaked the personal information of around 500,000 of its users, but according to a Wall Street Journal report, the social network’s vulnerability may have been leaking private user data since 2015.

It was also rumored that Google’s legal team feared that the issue may thrust the company into the spotlight and CEO Sundar Pichai may end up having to testify before the Senate.
