06 Sep Younger Americans Leaving Facebook, Adjusts Privacy Settings After Cambridge Analytica Scandal
According to a new report by the Pew Research Center, around 44% of Americans aged 18 to 29 say that they have deleted the Facebook app off their devices.
Data from the research firm also showed that the recent scandals may have prompted around 54% of users to tighten their privacy settings. Around 42% said that they have taken a break from the social network for at least a few weeks, while 26% completely deleted the app from their phone. In total, 74% said that they have done at least one action within the past year.
