20 Jan US Company Launches Privacy App for Indian Users
Internet security company Redmorph recently announced its foray into the Indian market. The Pittsburgh-based IT firm said that its “Ultimate Privacy and Security Solution” app will allow smartphone users in India to protect their sensitive data when they go online.
India, which has now surpassed the US in terms of Android app downloads, is witnessing a rapid increase in cyber crime. Consumer privacy and security measures are also said to be lacking, especially in the case of mobile devices which are often completely vulnerable. Redmorph says that its app offers a full suite of protections, including a feature which blocks unnecessary background activities and suspicious behavior from the apps installed on the device.
The “Ultimate Privacy and Security Solution” is free to try for 21 days, after which it will cost Rs 50/month. The app is already available on Google Play Store.
