03 Nov Study Reveals Users Optimistic on IoT but Worried About Privacy
A recent study by the Mozilla Foundation revealed that while consumers are ready to embrace further connectivity via mobile and IoT, they are wary of the privacy tradeoff it might bring.
The study found that respondents who considered themselves tech savvy were likely to be more optimistic on the idea of greater connectivity, while those who are less tech-proficient admitted that they were scared of the idea.
Participated by around 190,000 respondents from around the world, the study also showed that people from Brazil, India, and Mexico were the most optimistic, while those in France, Belgium, Switzerland and UK had the most privacy concerns.
